Beautiful Signs for a Better Planet
Accessibility Signs help the disabled and those who need some extra help move through offices, stores, and other building and facilities more efficiently. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires many of these signs, and in other areas they are a critical component of building wayfinding signage systems.
We’ve assembled all our ready to order signs that use the International Symbol of Accessibility (ISA or person in a wheelchair pictogram) in this sub-category for easy reference and ordering. Signs with the ISA should only be used where the identified feature or room meets the corresponding accessibility requirement detailed in the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
For all signs using the ISA we provide the option of both traditional and modified versions. While we prefer the more active modified ISA, and it is required in New York and Connecticut, please ask your local building inspector if it is okay to use the modified ISA in other states and municipalities.
